Dance music in clubs, not hip hop???

    Hi Just wondering if any clubs in Cancun play Dance music :cool: , Paul Van Dyke or The Chemical Brothers, Fatboy slim etc :D :D . Any clubs play rave music?? Or are all the clubs RnB and hip hop?? :?:

    Occassionally they play a little bit Very Little bit and I've been for 28 Nights so far and not heard any Rave...Thank F*ck for that too cos its Sh*t :p

    its not sh*t its just different hahahaha u can hear that kind of music in Playa del Carmen, in "playa mamitas" i think at a certain hour there's a DJ playing lounge and techno and that kind of music, but its just like to chill on the beach... :D

    Ah we're stayin in Cancun! Hopefully somewhere will play it for a while, either that or I'll have to crank the ipod up to the last and buy a keg and start our own little party on the beach :p ..... Your all invited!! :cool: :D :lol:

    the best place was La Boom that was mad but unfortunately closed down :( - Tiesto played when we were there that was cool, other than that, the devil song is probably the closest you'll get to it now ... its all gone pete tong :bawl:

    We saw Oakenfold at the city in 2006, like i said its not my thing but he was their that recently so you never know :D

    That reminds me how Europeans are into the trave rave scene more then us Americans. Its kind of like Bob Sinclair vs Lil Jon. In Florida, nobody was into the whole rave scene at all. Maybe in Cancun?

    O Ultra Lounge plays techno. Don't remember it being too memerable though.

    It'd be nice to have PVD, Oakenfold, Tiesto, or Armin van Burren, etc playing in Cancun while we are down there. If not, my room will always have hard trance on. :cool: :cool:

    I've 3 guesses. 1. E is a lot more accessible in Europe than in the US. 2. Most American guys don't have rhythm so they prefer grinding music (exclude latin music cause that requires rhythm) over real dance music. 3. Americans idolizes the ho smacking, cap popping, being a thug is cool lifestyle more.
