Dance music in Cancun - March 11 - 18th

no idea why they call it that... i just know that it's a sub-genre of all electronic dance music.. mauro picotto / christopher lawrence / misstress barbara are prime examples of "techno" dj's... paul van dyk, armin van buuren, ferry corsten would be trance dj's... bad boy bill / dj dan would be house / electro... the list goes on and on... i'm just hoping that ANY style is played there consistently rather than hearing shitty rap music everywhere i go

If you want chill trance, you can go to the bar at the ME hotel. Very chic and trendy bar.

what was MTV's club? I thought it was la boom but maybe it was the City.... i cant remember!

 

if mtv has a club, it's probably best to avoid it... i couldn't imagine them having a dance music club

 

Thanks for asking that question DogtownMan, I was actually wondering the same thing. So no house music is played at any of the clubs huh. So its all just that top 40 crap? Sigh.

 

See the stuff i wrote about nectar for house and trance but your going to have to stay up late doesnt get going till 4.30 lol

 

i'm all set w/ staying up that late... like someone else said, this isn't ibiza so in my opinion, it wouldn't be worth it

Much like here all the Hip Hop, Rap...etc is called R'n'B I can't work one out from the other.

I remember I saw Tiesto in Melbourne last year, was amazing although my sister wanted to go early (we got in for free) so we missed Adagio :evil: lets say he closed with it and I was far from a happy girl that night!!!!
