Dance music in Cancun - March 11 - 18th

I might be going down but it all depends on if there are any good dance-music clubs (trance, techno, electro, etc).

Anyone know if there are any good clubs / good djs that play in Cancun during this time period?

I'm all set if Cancun is just like America (aka, shitty music at every venue)

 

nahh u aint gonna find much trance techno etc.....this aint ibiza

strictly crunk in the clubs in cancun lol

 

I dont know quite allot is played in offpeak times so basically 10-11.30pm then 2am-4am

 

if this was like ibiza i'd be here every year...

i've heard PVD has played here in the past on spring break... just wondering if anyone like him will be playing

for me the only bad thing about cancun is the music.. hardly any dirty house, funky house etc... altho in america they all seem to call dance music "TECHNO" lol

 

too true; La Boom was the place to go for trance, dance, house and funky tunes but thats long gone ... Tiesto was @ the city a few years ago which was an awesome night, so you might find someone like that out there, be great to see Judge Jules i reckon .. other than that you wont find much .. we used to take our tunes down to the bar in the Tucancun while we drank in the evening; the bar and entertainment guys loved it

 

haha, because americans don't have any idea...

if there's a club with any quality non-poppy EDM i'll be happy...

 

it'd be better than listening to a bunch of mainstream rubbish, sounds like u guys had a good idea

 

Never got the 'techno' name thats the old electronic music style from the late 80s and 90s :lol:
