We do the same and that's so true about NOT stopping for all the people that are trying to get you a ride to the resort. Just keep walking until you get outside. Your transportation company will be there to pick you up and take you to heaven!!!! :aetsch004:

We've been twice to Cancun now and both times from off the plane to outside in under 30min.

    Yess it does.

Now try explaining to a pretty little Mexican customs officer why you have all the sex toys ( Sexy toy exchange party) in your bag. BTW I was carrying Joannes bag ...:icon_rolleyes::doh::icon_wink::anon:

We always get the earliest arrival possible and it always helps. Leaving home at 3:30 in the morning to make a 6:00 flight is well worth it. Not only at customs but at TTR check in. Arrive before noon and it is swift. Get there after 3:00 and you can stand in line for 45 minutes trying to get your rooms.

We arrived Feb 21 approx 10:30 am and flew thru. Our luggage one of the first. Out to USA Transfers and drinking a fresh beer in premiere room at 11:45 am.
Each trip is different tho. We just lucked out.
We have had the 2 hr b.s. arrival more than once.

On Feb 21st, we were in the USA Transfers van 25 minutes after the door of the plane opened. IT WAS AWESOME!

Can't remember what trip it was, March 2013 I think. But we were stuck in line for 3 1/2 hours, it was awful! But that was the only time. Typically you're looking at 30 mins or less.
