I only found two. One at the airport. One next to Kukulcan Plaza. The bank is not in the mall but behind the mall on the northside. Basically, go to the northeast (outside) corner of the mall and you will see the bank. There maybe more but I don't know where they are. Maybe a local would know better. Norma?
Kukulcan is close enough to my resort. I've been there last year, when I had to buy some Clinique to cover up the broken blood vessels on my face due to violent reactions to food poisoning. I know you really wanted to know that. LOL. The lounge across the street from it, Bling, is a really nice place, pretty posh, has lagoonview. You should check it out!
Food poison or hickey from Norma? I went to the website. Looks pretty cool. I'll definitely go check it out this year.
hahahaha first of all... i made sure didnt leave hickeys hahahahaha theres a santander in La Isla, under the cinemas hahahaha and ally dont tell them not to go to hard rock... my brother works there!!!! (by the way... if we go with him we het 50% off :wink hahahahha
i had an orangeade and pasta, and i think they used local tap water for the ice, or did something similar. i was throwing up violently for hours.
just a question.... i am exchanging dolllars for pesos when i get there..... does the airport or the cumbia exchange downtown charge a fee for currency exchange? if so how bad is it? also.... anyone who is going the 5th, 6th, or 7th or March..... if you are bringing a laptop or plan on getting computer access while you are down there (or you live in cancun)..... please be kind enough to post the airport's exchange rate, as well as the cumbio/cumbia exchange downtown! I'm sure we would all appreciate it! Thanks everyone have a safe and memorable experience!
DON'T exchange money anywhere period. They all rip you off. Best way is to use your ATM card and take peso out from the ATMs. It'll use your bank's exchange rate (much much better than any exchange place you can find). The only downside is the out of network ATM fees some banks charages. Sometimes you can avoid fees then you are golden. For example, I withdraw from Santandar ATMs in Cancun with Bank of America ATM card (they have a global alliance so they don't charge each other fees). I have a friend whose dad was in the military so she has a USAA account with doesn't charge out of network ATM fees. There must be other ways to avoid fees as well. Trust me, I've travel all around the world and I have been to 1 exchange place in the last 10 years.
