do any of u have an interest in local culture while youre vacations? i meen theater, movies , local literature etc...
When I travel getting a taste of the local culture is usually the top priority. Culture, nature, proper spelling and good grammar are among my primary interests...
I'm assuming Cecilia is a local with English as a second language, hi there. This part of the forum is for folks who actually live here, so yes, I would say we all embrace the local culture. Most of us don't really like the American influence here either. Why do you ask Cecilia?
Hi Cecilia, and welcome I think you meant theaters, concerts, and so on. There is a big lack of it in Cancun. And rather expensive when any, in relation of salaries and other countries prices. There are poor bookstores for books in Spanish, I am trying to find a book, I went to all of them, I cannot find it. Much better in English and other languages (Cancun, Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Isla Mujeres). Still nothing to do with "abroad". As for movies theaters, there are plenty. Not always the last movie but you can enjoy. Good luck
