    I agree about the Cubs lineup being dangerous. Calling their pitching "better than decent" would be a huge stretch.

    There will be 3-4 teams that could be going for the NL Central title, however the Cubs probably won't be one of those.

    Too bad the Cubs aren't more competitive!! Would be nice to have a rivalry!!

    That is what Dusty Baker thought!! Lou will definitely have his hands full. That goat has power for a long time.

    I am sure the Tribune spent a lot of money to upgrade the team for the upcoming sale. The Cubs can sell out every game with a miserable team, and I don't see any incentive for them to improve.
