I agree. they will both be rested and besides, they are all back in NY today getting back into NY routine and the WS doesnt start til Wed. and I think its better for NY that they have another game cause they stay in a groove. By Wed, the Phillies will have been off for a whole week and they are gonna cool off. a week is a long time in a game where your used to playing @ least 6 out of 7 days a week. and practices are nowhere close to playing in a real game. anyway, as I said before and still stand by it..... Yankees in 6!!!!
Couple of problems with your theory. 1 - Phillies have 6 days off between the NLCS and the World Series this year. They also had 6 days off between the NLCS and the World Series last season - which they won in 5 games. 2 - The Yankees have not made it to the World Series yet! Just sayin' :wink:
The Phillies played the Rays in the world series last year lol The Rays are a D2 collegiate team compared to this years Yankees team. You gotta figure you'll see CC twice, maybe even three times in the world series, and he's proved hes not the same pitcher that showed up in the past....Yanks in 6 if they get there....but for now lets root for the Angels!
