I had lunch today with a cigar smoking buddy from Pto Morelos. He said the closest thing to a sure thing is the Duty Free airport shops. I am not vouching for his info, only reporting it. But I know that if he is awake he has a cigar close by. I have a couple of official looking Cohiba boxes, and they may be legit. Can't speak for the cigars I bought from this open box in a legit shop, but again, I quit cigars many years ago.
