Coast Guard Searches for Missing NCL Cruise Passenger http://www.cruisecritic.co.uk/news/news.cfm?ID=2985 The United States Coast Guard has joined the search for a passenger who went missing from Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Pearl early this morning. According to an official cruise line statement, initial findings indicate that the passenger may have gone overboard while the ship was at sea, east of Cancun, Mexico (the ship was docked in Cozumel earlier in the day). CNN reports that the husband of 36-year-old Jennifer Feitz informed cruise ship personnel of her disappearance at about 3:50 a.m., and that NCL called for Coast Guard help after an initial failed search attempt. Norwegian Pearl is currently on a seven-night Western Caribbean cruise that departed from Miami on Sunday, December 21. The ship is at sea today and is due in the Bahamas' Great Stirrup Cay tomorrow.
