My drink of choice is Papa's Pilar rum, and it's only sold a few places, definitely not in Cancun. I bubble rap it and wrap in numerous t shirts, 3 times now without an issue. Fingers crossed for the 4th!

You will get plenty of chance to check out membership. They will make sure to ask you when you check in for the tour..

I found the Fireball at a Mexican 7-11 to be quite a bit more expensive than in Canada (about twice the price), was kicking myself for not buying at the Edmonton duty free on the way out. I'd be worried that the CR might be the same.

Is it safe to leave TTR to go across street to buy Crown?
Also even tho Crown is for Priemer members you can buy drinks of Crown. They are just not included in all inclusive price. Was told by TTR that it runs about $8 us per drink.

It's safe to walk across the street.

It's also smarter to buy at your local airport duty free before you leave, if you really want it (you can carry 3L per person)

I don't know much buying a drink runs, but with proper tipping early on, you might be able to get them to make crown drinks.

    Thank you.
Can we buy at airport and take to TTR? I thought you could only buy there and bring back to US.
I don't remember being able to go to shops after getting off plane in Cancun.

I’m a Crown Apple freak. Sounds like I at least need to have a bottle in the room. Is it best to buy it at my local airport, Cancun airport, local store, or Cancun Walmart (if possible)?
And when I have it, did someone say I can give it to the bartender (with a tip of course) and he’ll make my drinks with it?

You can buy at your airport and bring in, and you can buy at the Cancun airport and bring in as well. Crown might be more money there, than at home. They should have regular crown at the smaller duty free that's near baggage claim.
