Nice idea tipping $20 up front. I will have to try that next time. Are those guys (bartenders) ok with that? I surely appreciate their efforts and always try to let them know with a tip and a word of thanks, but I have wondered if they get tired of the soggy bills that I am usually shoving into the jar throughout the day. We always make sure the lady who takes care of our room is covered as well and we commonly leave $5 or so for her.
They are totally cool with it. We also tip $10 at Paty'Os and it works wonders. They will remember you and rush to get you what you want
I'm still stuck on thinking that $60 is a good price for Crown? Did I misunderstand something? That's like a slightly high price for Blanton's, for crying out loud... $30 is still high, IMO. There's a liquor store on the way to TTR you can ask the driver to whip into (don't ask me the address) and you can get it for under $30 and just walk it into your room. I get the feeling that if I took it and gave it to a bartender, I'd get lit and then it'd be "Ya want to drink some Crown with me?!?!" Note use of extra punctuation marks to indicate a bit of a buzz and alcohol-induced booze generousity.
