It's an amusing game- a little hard to follow, though, for me. How many players does it take to form one team? If they had two full teams that was quite a good turnout, I figure.
It's normally 11 a side but I think the plan was to play a 6 a side game. The rules are quite easy to follow:
Thanks, Steve for clearing that up! :icon_wink: ____________________ Not only are the rules a little baffling, but the name of the game- I mean, really, "cricket"? You guys came up with some nice, manly sounding names for some of your other sports, like "rugby"! Even I could be proud to say I was playing a game of rugby with my chums. But, I might be a little hesitant to say I was spending my afternoon playing "cricket", though the game itself is perfectly respectable. There must be a history associated with the name, perhaps a connection to Queen Victoria or something, that makes you guys reluctant to part with it, or fail to see the need to part with it. (By the way, I've got no suggestions for a replacement, so you're on your own, and I'll keep my peace if you decide to stay with the one you've got.)
