Credit Cards, Pesos or American?????

We use American, give $10 each morning to the pool bartender and $10 to the bartender at Paty-Os. Couple bucks for Breakfast and lunch and dinner tip depends on the meal/restaurant. Don't forget the housekeeping staff either...

 

I go by the motto I learned in 2nd grade...."you peso much and you own it". I'd probably just check with your bank and order a bunch of 20 peso bills for tipping and everything. You could probably bring american dollars for any big purchases as those are often advertised/negotiated in dollars and you won't really get much saving going with pesos. Or just get some big peso bills too for that and try to anticipate your spending. We just keep any leftovers for the next trip as free money!
