This week is it!, the big match up against the Diablos Rojos of Mexico City, the team the Tigres beat in an exciting seven game championship playoff last year to become champion of the Mexican League.

The games will be this week, Tuesday through Thursday night, at 8 PM.

Ticket sales open at 12 noon, tomorrow! (Monday, June 25)

    Good seats will go fast.

    V,

I am pretty sure that we swept them, 4 games to 0, last year.

    JAJA V,

You had posted that another time and I let it slide.

If you remember we were making plans for them to come back to Cancun to wrap it up here but it never happened.

Get the brooms ready. Let's go for another sweep. We have enough drama here already. A 7 game series is too much stress. I want them to dominate.

The Tigers won again last night, 6-2, this time against the Red Devils of Mexico City in the first game of a three game, home series.

Tonight they play again, and Bobby Cramer is pitching.

Should be a good one, if the weather holds!

Cramer had pitched eight innings when, with the game tied at 2-2, he was pulled for a relief pitcher; so, he got a no decision.

He has to win to merit a kiss.:icon_wink:

After Cramer left the game, the Tigres went on to lose the game, 5-2. They play again tonight, 8 PM.

His pitching looked solid to me. He threw few fastballs, though. T.J. said he thought the Diablos are a notoriously good, fast ball hitting team, and off speed is what it takes to deal with them.

He did well enough in his eight innings: his team just didn't put up enough runs while he was pitching to get him a win.

Tonight will decide which team takes the three game series: they are tied at one win apiece, now.
