Just returned. Delta Check-in in Cancun gave us the México Tourist Cards to complete but nobody ever asked for them. Nobody checked our temperatures going or coming. About 80% of the people we talked to last week already had Covid and most got it at TTR earlier in 2020.
Hotel was full and never seen the pool with as many people in the 10 times we have been there. Bash was packed at night. It was obvious people needed to escape.

Are there any masks requirements on the property itself?

We just got back we were there the 29th through the 4th. Masks were required in the airport and on the transfer. As soon as we walked in the lobby we took ours off and never put them back on the whole entire time until we had to leave. Only people wearing masks were staff. We did see a couple people wearing them around but that was out of hundreds.

Does anybody know how easy it is to get a PCR test in The Hotel Zone. Canada is now requiring a test 72 hours prior to boarding return flight home. Any info would be greatly appreciated. We will be there mid feb.

We did our PCR test yesterday morning and got the results the same day. It was at a private hospital (hosptin Cancun) so we did pay a premium but it was garenteed the same day and the process was very simple.
Test was $265 USD each but you can get it back on your insurance if applicable.
There are many other clinics that are listed on the Westjet website but we called and the times would be possible 72 hours to get the results.
Take a cab to the hospital, have him wait, then back to the resort, $20 USD.
Let me know if you need any additional information.

The UK require a negative PCR test on return from next week. We're not due in TTR until June so hopefully things will change.

It would be nice to see a mobile test come right to the hotel. Flights on a Tuesday so it worries me that we may have to wait to get test until Monday. Hopefully some clinics are open on Sunday.
