Nothing wrong with drinking, I'm right there with you. Just getting started ona full, fun night of drink-caused tomfoolery. I think it is Saturday... that's right isn't it? Yep, applying for the SBA loan. I've no idea if it is "party" liberal, but it certainly does have some socialist to it, much in the same way "social" security did... does (??). Politics.... a big word, meaning, there are more facets to it than can really be counted, yet int he States we try to jam all those concepts into a 2-party system. I find that weird. I'm with Kyle, socially liberal and fiscallyc onservative. "Yes, it'd be awesome to have houses built for every single homeless person in the States, yep, that'd be a good thing. But, umm how are we going to pay for it?"
This may help to explain the U.S. national debt ("the money") : The Real Owner of the U.S. Debt Will Surprise You Interesting also how the US owes over a trillion USD each to China and Japan. How does that impact diplomacy and accusations.
There is no one person that is the most qualified. All potential choices will have positives and negatives. There are likely 5 or 10 or maybe even 100 people that would likely fit the "most qualified" category. Thus, there is nothing wrong (IMHO) with focusing on one or two or three qualities that are important to you (and obviously helpful to your election chances). If I were running for president, I know I would have a list of at least 5 women that would fit the bill. I woukd also have a list of 5 men too. But I too would make the decision that picking a women was an important quality that I would want to encourage. Do you think any presidential candidate has ever picked "the most qualified" VP nominee over one who could help his election? Of course not. But at least you hope they pick one that is in the group of "very qualified" - which unfortunately does not always happen. I believe that Biden has a list of women that are at least as qualified as any list of men he could find.
All true. Also true, is that statement is sexist, and not treating everyone equal, which is what I was responding to.
You are saying that because Biden has decided to set aside one job in his admin for a women, he isn't treating everyone equally. If Biden had said he would only appoint women to his cabinet, then I would certainly agree. But setting aside one job for a women does not indicate a pattern of any kind. I am pretty sure that a Biden cabinet would turn out to be a very diverse group on many fronts (gender, race, sexual orientation and more) if he gets elected.
You have accurately stated what I feel. Maybe I’m a fucking idiot and just splitting hairs, but I’m a sound byte era truth is truth. I drive my insane playing the hypocrisy game, from both sides. Make me stop please. I’d rather just believe I’ll get back to TTR this year.
I would actually hope/think that his VP is actually of sound mind and can carry the load of the presidency. Have you heard that guy talk I actually think he may have an illness.
