Convince my wife ttr isn't a swinger resort....

Personally we always tell people it's a "Swinger Friendly" resort. What we mean by that is that it is NOT a swingers Resort. If it was, an overwhelming majority of the guests would be swingers, the resort would have swinger games, there would not be signs asking you to keep you sex acts in your room.

On the other hand, it's not a total "Vanilla" (non swinger) resort either. It is a resort that allows swingers to enjoy their vacation as much as non swingers and we don't need to fear being ostrasized if we're found out. As a matter of fact, some of us are now wearing our own discreet wristbands. This helps us know who else is in the lifestyle without offending non swingers.

The thing that makes TTR the most unique resort is the fact that EVERYBODY gets along. By that I mean: swingers / Vanillas, USA / Canada / UK, Black / white, gay / straight / lesbien, HWP / non HWP, from women who wear thongs to women wear one piece suits, topless / non topless, mid 20's to mid 70's . . . EVERYBODY gets along.

Book your trip, never worry about this subject again. Just show up, and you will instantly learn why we all go back year after year. This May was our 12th trip in 12 years.

 

If your wife is looking for one big sex party, she will be disappointed. There's a very flirty atmosphere, lots of people letting loose in ways they can't at home, and plenty of stuff that is sexy without actually turning into sex.

However, if your wife is looking for a sex party here and there, it's likely she will find some like-minded people. I just don't want her to get there and be disappointed it's not some big crazy hoopla 24/7.

HWP - Height/Weight Proportionate. Someone that is not overweight or underweight.

 

Funny story, we were there in April and met a cop from Toronto. He was talking about the rumour that there were tons of swingers there, yet he hadn't met any. My wife told him to throw a rock and he would hit one - lol he was shocked. Told him he wasn't approacheable enough and needed to have another drink, then maybe...

If you want it, it is there, but it isn't an in your face thing either which is good in my view.

 

I agree with Jamie and rob both. Last September it was a little tamer then in April. For some reason, some of the websites from over the pond represent TTR as a swinger resort and also a singles resort. The swinging crowd dosnt go around flaunting on Jamie's soapbox yelling "I am swinger , who wants some?". If you want some action, go around and talk to people...if you don't...guess what...go and talk to people...if you don't want to swing ,sway, or whatever but are approached..just politely say no...no harm done
Swingers are everywhere but are like the chupacabra and we all know what the unicorn is...

Don't worry Vince and Wendy. Harvest was early this year...so couldn't pull of the trip. Maybe next year...definantly September though. Between cotton and peanuts...

 

Got news for everyone ....

It is starting to seem like, literally, everywhere has a swingers/lifestyle place to go. it's here folks, whether we want to jump in and play, look from a distance, get up close to watch and be watched, or turn up our noses at what we don't like as if it were dirty, nasty, or unnatural.

Houston has, I did a google search recently just to see, about 7 straight out swingers/lifestyle clubs, from those with open playrooms to those where it's more high scall meet and greet, like that. Those are the ones openly "out there." Probably lots more sort of underground, as it were.

So, your wife is probably just as likely to run across a swinger or a couple in the lifestyle, at your local grocery store as at TTR. Really.

Doesn't really address your point, I know. Stacia & I've been to TTR 6 times, and only on one time did we actually come across an actual "group" of lifestylers. Just once out of 6 times, and that group was about 30 people out of... how many? Like 500?
