I would be concerned with any taller buildings near the pool shading the pools. That could really dampen the pool fun in off-months, and the fun atmosphere would be hard to shift to a traditional beach setting. A big part of the fun is people watching around the pools. At other resorts it's mostly wave watching, and I've never seen a naked one yet!
Whatever it is they are going to do we won't have a clue as to when, what or where until they want us too. Maybe they won't do a damn thing and its's all just hype. Turn a person into a junkie and them tell him he might not be able to get his fix much longer and watch what happens. It would be a genius marketing strategy really.
If there's construction this time and they offer upgrade to Desire, I'm down, just sayin' HumperandWoody & Midwestern, y'all take note so we can meet!
