We just got back last week and they are just currently doing upgrades and small amount of construction to the 5000 block of rooms. A couple times I had a gentlemen climbing a ladder outside my room and he was startled by the bikini clad lady in the room but I just smiled and waved. They don't really start construction super early so I was able to sleep just fine and am out of the room partying my ass off during the day so it didn't present a single issue!!
When we were there in June all I saw was stripping of the red paint / plaster on the 5000 block of rooms. As noted, they didn't start very early so it wasn't a big deal.
They did change the air conditioner in the breakfast/dinner buffet restaurant when we were there. Was on the 20th or so. Made a huge difference in the temperature in there for sure
