confused about travel time

    One of our great presidents decided a few years ago that it would conserve energy if the daylight hours were longer for a longer period of time. Thinking people would stay out of the house more. As far as I'm concerned, I see no reason to ever change it.......................

    I always thought that when you were flying to Mexico you were going ''Down'' south so they could fly faster, and when you going back your going ''Up'' north so the plane has to work harder, hence it takes more time.

    Going to Cancun (from UK), it took 11 hours, and we went past Bahamas and Cuba. Going back, it only took about 10 hours, and we hugged the east coast of USA and Canada for almost half of the journey back.
