Thing for us is we are booked for 4 days at Desire for Halloween right after our 7 at what was going to be TTR. So we might have to take the offer. I might call tomorrow but we still have til June 5
And there are those.... Like us that have no flexibility ... If we had known , we would have taken our honeymoon this may with the usual friends and crew. But planned on going in early October after our wedding...... I just wish they would have been more forthcoming ...... When the announcement came out it came with a whole new web design and promos. This makes me believe they knew at least a month or two before. Honestly I'm little pissed off. If we had known we would have been on vacation right now. ( we own a business so we have to have reliable people to cover) . I'm sure I will piss off some but I don't care for the new look. The rooms are cool , yes. But the rest of the resort will look dated in a few years as a Miami vice ... porn ..... Disco ..... has been. The last I checked it was 20 + years in between neon being hip and now. IMHO. It doesn't look warm and homey to me. I'm 42 . I don't want to go to the rave club. I want to go to the local club .
We will be visiting Oasis Sens in Oct 22-29. I have several friends that will be there, then going to spend Halloween at DRM. Curtis and I are flexible and go with the flow. We were locked in to specific dates because of our flights. My only concern with Oasis Sens is they better figure out FOOD after 10pm if they want the TTR transfers to be happy. At this time I have read there are 75+ couples that will be there at that time that are TTR party people!! Is it the resort or the people that make the party??? I love the new look of TTR. Purple has always been one of my favorite colors. I have always associated vibrant bright colors as reminding me of Mexico. I think it's beautiful!! XOXOXOXOX Dawn
No food after 10pm scares the crap out of me. Poor reviews are one thing, but no food and several reviews of room theft I don't like. HOWEVER, I want to go where the TTR people go and where there is a party. The GP group on FB isn't making us feel welcome. Torn on what to do now. :/
I unfollowed that FB page, they were being nasty to TTR people at every opportunity. I will never go there.
They are lucky I am not on FB. My response would of been... yes, you should be worried, I am going to T-bag you if you are sleeping by the pool I kid. I kid. What are they so afraid of? I guess it isn't quite the open atmosphere TTR represents.
Come to GP and party with us. I'm not worried about the GP regulars and their antics. If one group doesn't like what the other is doing, they don't have to join. Old enough to know better, too young to care
