We used to have a calendar which ran in parallel to the roll calls. It was under utilised but I still got inundated with people not knowing how to put their dates in and it ended up very incomplete. Agreed, that was on an individual basis rather than a group basis, so kind of different. My fear of adding a group calendar is that a minority of people use this site simply to recruit new members to send to their own social media groups such as Facebook or Kik or whatever, and then some of those groups start running their own promos and deals in competition to me and ultimately we end up with less chat here. I think adding a calendar of groups would probably make this easier. One thing I'm on the fence about is adding a sub forum "Temptation Groups" and then that could be split in to child forums such as April Addicts, Mayhem, June Junkies etc with a separate section for each, and a Moderator representing each of those groups, such as Jamie for Mayhem, Dawn for Junkies etc. Maybe then we could get most of the group chat back here in one central place rather than scattered among a hundred different Facebook groups, as was the case for many years. What do people think about that suggestion?
I think this is a great idea! Theme nights, room crawls, ect can be in one place for that month instead of scattered throughout the main chat. There's a lot of duplicates as well
Sounds good to me. When you go with the same group all the time it’s pretty easy communicate and know what’s going on, but if you decide to switch your time of year, finding that group becomes more difficult.
