Generally Pearl is more expensive. Pearl is uber luxury. Fabulous pool, food and service etc wonderful, but, the nights at the disco pretty much suck. At RM it's not quite as luxurious, but the nights rock! Which is why we are going in September while they're refurbishing the pool at RM. Free transfers & day passes to Pearl, nights back at RM. Win win! :daisy:
How is it not as luxurious? I did check both for the same date, and were priced tot he penny the same.
Well you're very lucky! Standard rooms are way bigger at Pearl, although not as modern in decor, breakfast and lunch is far superior, pool much larger with swim up bar (although September renovations are to address this at RM). Staff that bit more professional. If I could get them at the same price I'd jump at Pearl. Even though the disco isn't as good, the jacuzzi makes up for it :mermaid:
Neither of these resorts are purpose built, they work with what they have. Hence Pearl has great rooms, but old fashioned decor, as it used to be a wedding/ honeymoon hotel.:daisy: Both are works in progress.
Hi guys. We are planning to visit Desire RM next April. Can you expand on the night entertainment there. Is there a DJ that plays the music? Also what time would that start and finish. My girlfriend luvs her dancing. Lastly, how is the Jacuzzi there and what temperature is it set to?
