this is our 7th trip coming up April 8-22, I'm pretty certain this was probably an isolated situation. It seems March does tend to come with these issues....spring breakers, etc... I assure you, you will have a fantastic trip in April though!!
We were there from Feb 27 - Mar 7 and we had a great time. We hadn't been to TTR in 8 years and at that time we were kinda WTF? on all of the outfits etc that we saw then (mostly because we didn't know what we were getting ourselves into lol), but this time we participated in most theme nights. The only disappointing night we found was the white dress shirt night as when we got there my wife was the only one in that attire. After 45 min or so she went back to change into something else white and we came back. There were a few ladies that came later in the white dress shirts but my wife didn't feel like changing again. (It was a long day with the Boobs Cruise and all) We did witness the cap in the pool with the single drunk guys - but you could see problems coming. Like I said to my wife when we were floating to the swim up bar, it's was kinda like we were in shark infested waters. That was absolutely the only real negative we experienced and we will be back next year.
We had the same type of thing happen to us in Jamacia at a famous resort, you know the one I mean!! We had two great trips there, met lots of great people and had a lot of fun!! Our last trip was not as much fun but it probably would have been great for Newbies. I think we just expected it to be as awesome as the first ones and there wasn't the same couples there and the group we went with didn't do a good job on entertaining! Hope we have a better experience at TTR as we will be there in 10 days!
Great. Man I really hope I don't have to constantly be "on guard" to protect wife from ignorant groups of single guys. Some years it was so bad she didn't feel comfortable heading off to the bathroom by herself, or going to the bar to grab a drink by herself. And then there was the group of 15-20 guys in april 2011 who took over the sexy pool...doing cannon balls into the hot tub areas and mosh pitting on the dance floor...ugh Ignorant groups of single guys and cameras lol. Potential trip ruiners for us. Crossing my fingers for this year.
I understand the difference between what we experienced and what the new couple experienced , however we had 7 previous trips to compare too, the comment about being in the pool and it being like shark infested waters with single guys was dead on , one day we counted 26 single guys and 3 couples in the pool, there was atleast 4 stag groups there , one having 10 guys wearing green t shirts to mark the ocassion, and as I said some were very respectful , but that many single guys changes the atomsphere there , We dont post on here , but the trip was so disappointing we felt that people on here should atleast here about our experience , Iam sure lots of people had a blast , imagine the selection of single men for those in the lifestyle that were there looking , haha,
What happened in the Pool? Why was the guy arrested? Where is the wife? Is he still in jail? Why do you feel security handled it poorly?
Sorry to hear your trip was bad. We have been to TTR 23 times and love the people that we have made life long friends with. March is a no no for us as the spring breakers (not all) but the wolf packs think because of the topless women that its a free for all and most of the time does not end up the way they think it should. I am by no means bashing the resort that we all love but it was time for us to try something different so we went to Jamaica last week for our 30year anniversary and I must say we really enjoyed our time there. When we got home our throats were not sore from screaming to talk over the loud music and felt like we had been on a vacation of rest, sexy vibe, nice couples and I could go on and on. We will go back to TTR I'm sure of that. We usually go in April -May and again in October for Halloween and love it.
we love Jamacia , Couples Tower Isle is a must for everyone , April or October is the only months we will go to TTR , we are heading back to Jamacia in late Sept 2016, we did march once at TTR , never again
Reading some of these are discouraging. Our first time to go is in 2 days. I'll hope and be grateful for a better experience. My wife is truly looking forward to letting loose and being skimpy/slutty with her attire and from previous experiences we've had on "sexy" vacations she can either REALLY let loose or get turned off if the vibe is lacking. Fortunately, she can be pretty intimidating to single guys so a lot are scared off from the get go but I just want her to be as comfortable and uninhibited as possible. I guess if the atmosphere lends itself to unsavory characters we'll at least have the Boobs Cruise
