Hi, I wondered if anybody knew anything about Colegio Britanico? Any info would do regarding its level of education or students, anything? Thank you
Our daughter went to Britanico from around the age of 2 and a half until 6 (2nd grade). We found the pre-school very good but as she got older the more concerns we had. Bear in mind this relates to Primary: - The facilities were old and outdated, no grass, no pool - The standard of English from the English teachers was not as good as it should have been - The school admin system was disorganised and poorly run - The books were too expensive (some of which were still unused at the end of the school year) - Many pupils started to leave and fees increased unreasonably - As pupils left classes got merged resulting in higher pupil to teacher ratios. Overall we were happy until her last year but could see that things weren't likely to get any better. This was 3 years ago so no idea how it is currently. We moved her to Alexandre where she is now in 5th grade. Her brother is in pre 1st and we are happy with all the issues we were unhappy with at her prior school and glad we made the change.
