We've been 6 or 7 times and go pretty much every time we're there, one of our favorite nights. The girls always wear their slutty dresses and get up on the bar or stage to dance. It's always entertaining and a great night if you go with friends. Nothing like drunk street tacos and pizza when you leave the club at 3AM.

Let's see...we're getting up at 4:00 am that morning to get to the airport, then have the Boobs Cruise the next day...:doh: Coco Bongos goes until about 4:00 am, so that's just not going to work for us. We're there until July 10, so maybe a different night?
A couple "pro tips" on Coco Bongo: (I've been in Playa, but I figure Cancun would be about the same) The club is built like a colisseum--the "peasants" are down on the main floor by the bar and where the performers wind up. The VIPs are in the upper levels, sitting at their tables and watching from above (they can come down to the main floor and dance if they want.) If you love dance clubs and don't mind crowds, skip the VIP package--you'll be dancing on the main floor all night, anyway. If you think you'll need to sit or have a place away from the crowds, do the VIP. There's a good variety of pop music--current hits all the way back to the 80s. It's geared to a mass market and wide variety of ages. Not the techno/house/whatever it is the whippersnappers are listening to right now :aktion034: The shows are spectacular--aerialists, celebrity impersonators, multi-media. The production value will impress even Las Vegas and South Beach veterans. Smiling, well-dressed women will get pulled up to dance on the bar and in the show. They will also get drinks faster. It is what it is. Guys, let the girls get the drinks for you. As for dress code, they'll turn you away if you're "inappropriate" by their standards, so save the fishnet dresses for PatyO's. You can go very sexy, but not as wild as you would at TTR. Pack something you'd wear to a club in Vegas.
