By all means! If you are really into dropping ~$65 so you can stand up all night, getting jammed into a spot where you can't really get any service, have a hard time seeing the show, can't talk to anyone more than 3 inches away from your mouth.... enjoy going to CB. That's my $0.02. The CB experience is something that CAN be missed without ruining your Cancun experience, they've got some amazing PR working for that place though, I got to admit.
All valid points but I may mention a few thoughts: - $65 for cover and all drinks including transportation to the club is a ton cheaper than going out in my hometown - Any theatrical show in my hometown is going to cost $65 and if you go to Coco Bongo, the shows are pretty fun to watch - Going with the resort means you go with your friends so you don't have to worry about being "jammed up" against strangers - I LOVE Paty O's. Sometimes it's nice to do something different though sometimes. - If you want some space (females)... just go dance on stage or on top of the bar. They have never turned me down to get on stage. - I do personally recommend you travel to the restrooms with a buddy and at least casually identify the exits from the building as it really is a busy place.
Thanks for that John, although it sounds like fun we are not "big" on crowded loud places! Probably an experience we can pass on....Something tells me Paty O's is gonna be more than enough for us!! D
Great show and had loads of fun with my honey. Lot's of people having a great time, nothing like this outside of Mallorca or Ibiza. Costs are $65 for cover and all drinks including transportation to the club - well worth the charge. Paty O's is fun but this is a nice break from the hotel. Things can get wild here too. Dress sexy and enjoy!
It is a fun and entertaining bar for sure it is packed like crazy and easy to lose someone there if you even go with friends. it does have some sexy dressed girls for what they wear. It is entertaining and we have thought about going again. The 65.oo gets you there but you are responsible for paying your way back to resort at 2am.
I did super-jammed up clubs in my late teens and early 20s and worked in them, which may be part of my issues with CB, The City, and any of the other warehouse-style nightclubs in Cancun or any other super-nightlife vacay spots. For me, I really do prefer the smaller places, still a lot of fun to tear it up in, like the traditional Senor Frogs (yes, we really do have a great time Every time we go, dancing naked on the bar happens bodyshots, etc) all cool. Carolos & Charlie's, those usual suspects. I think it's the jammed together feeling that rubs me wrong. Well that and the absolutely horrible bar response time. I can't stand that.
