Last trip ( first trip) we were talked into going to the club The City. We were both glad we went even though I didnt think I wanted to leave the resort. We went as a group and had an absolute blast. Maybe we can discuss going 20 or 21st
I am certain we will go off the resort at least one night (June 17 - 24). There are 3 couples with our group coming together.
Pretty damn hard to leave the resort, the 1st time we went to TTR we went to Coco Bongo and had a blast. The 2nd time we just stayed and partied at the resort every night since we were with a pretty awesome group. We might be up to going out one night if we can get a good group going.
We were there May 8-15th and some friends convinced us to go to Coco Bongos. It turned out to be one of our trip highlights! We paid $70. USD per person for the resort sponsored VIP thing. They put you up in the higher seating (If you can call it that, it's all standing room only) but our favorite part was when we went down to the bar. All the girls get up on the bar top and dance. We definitely recommend it!!!!
I think it's more fun to NOT go VIP. That puts you on the main floor, and women can go up on the bar to dance. I've been twice to the Coco Bongo in Playa, and love it.
