I personally love Coco Bongo. It's worth seeing at least once. But it's the only thing I leave the resort for.

Bedtime Bash night at the resort would be a good night to go...you can dodge wearing footie pajamas in 30-degree weather. Epitome of a misguided theme night...epic fail.

We had fun on pajama night. There are some pretty cute and sexy ones to be seen.

we went to Coco Bongo once on the party bus from TTR and had a blast. Personally, with all the nasty stuff that's been going on recently at and outside clubs in Cancun, I'd be hard pressed to venture out at night anymore sadly. Paty O's (now Bash) is a hell of a party so we won't be leaving the resort after the sun goes down.

Typically, the post at the pool where the staff will host events that night. I'm CERTAIN it's still available, because the clubs all want the resorts to participate. Look near the pool for a whiteboard where they list events when you get there. If you've never been, Coco Bongo's is a MUST, but I would pick the lamest night of the week to go there. TTR is better than any club on a Fri or Sat night, can't miss lingerie night either....

We’re just back and can confirm that TTR no longer promote or run organised trips to CoCo Bongo :(

My husband has never been to Cancun, so we'll be going to Coco Bongo on Monday April 16 or Tues April 17...would be fun if a group of us went...PM me if you're interested in going on the 16th or 17th. I assume there will be a Boobs Cruise on the Monday, so probably Tuesday would be the best day to go.

To those who have been to TTR since the reno: what's the best night to miss out on the Bash party from an entertainment point of view? Are there set DJ's for certain nights at Bash?

I will agree that Coco Bongo is a blast to see and do but do the VIP pricing. We did VIP in Cancun the first time and non-VIP the second time in Playa and it was not fun (stuffed in a seat in upper balcony). VIP we had a table down on the floor and never an empty glass (very foggy minded when we left on my birthday). With VIP we had room to dance and they escorted the women to the raised dance floor. It is fun but we were at a boring resort when we went. Talk to people and see if you can make a group to go with. I'm sure someone at TTR can organize for you or you can call Coco Bongo and they will set you up and possibly send a transfer. Try to pick a night that you won't feel like you missed out on the BASH fun.

Aside from that, downtown Cancun is pretty safe but like any big city, be aware of your surroundings and be smart. The violence revolves around the drugs so again, be smart.

Only other point is that Temptation__ has no S on the end. One thing that annoys a lot of people.

On prior trips we had went to the clubs with the resort (years ago), didn't go every time for sure but it was worth seeing once. The shows at Coco Bongo in the past (remember... years ago) was pretty good to see. Reminded us of a Vegas show but your right in the crowd and the show is right above you at times, so it was pretty fun! I can't say how they are now but if they are similar, why not see it?
I agree once your at TTR it is hard to beat a lot of the fun that is right there without venturing off the resort but... sometimes its good to see a little, give your friends at home a few pics of outside the resort (clubs ... Boobs Cruise) to show you was in Cancun... not just at a fucking awesome topless resort that pics are not usually easily taken.
    Happy Hump Day Peeps!
