I do have to admit there were a lot of roaches near the 5000 block when we were there in January. It did freak me out a bit. But, that being said...our room was VERY clean and I never saw one once in or near the room. It would be different had they been in the room. Never even saw one in the walkway to the rooms. As I said in my review...I will just tell myself they are giant spider eating beetles and all is good
What is wrong with people, have they never heard this song before. Cockroaches are apart of the Mexican history, it doesnt mean they are dirty, this is their habitat.
Our first visit we had a giant cockroach come in our room under the door. The wife screamed and immediately ran out of the room. I grabbed a shoe and went toe to toe with the thing, luckily I won. The second year we noticed they put something at the bottom of all the doors to prevent the cockroaches from running under them.
What else do you expect from those bloody moaning English :icon_rolleyes: I sure that was room we had in November.. surprised the cockroaches got up the stairs, I am sure somewhere in the insect world the cockroaches and complaining of sharing a room with this knob.
They just add excitment iin the morning when Kelly wakes up and starts freaking out and screaming "oh my god there is a huge bug on the floor" and jumps right back into bed, so works in my favor. Whats wrong wiith some people they are just a bug.
Saw a cockroach for our first time anywhere this trip at TTR. just in the area behind the 5000 block. Peaked our interest, then we moved on. We were in mexico.... it is the carribean, you do see that stuff. Also saw a small Iguana one afternoon, and a few salamanders. Sooner see them then 3' of snow.
leezard, leezard The tropics...40 miles south of TTR, large iguanas block your walkway or bike path at resorts. Maybe TTR needs more iguanas to assist with the "reported" bug issue.
Seen 1 in a room...it's Mexico...not really freaked out by it...mind you some people are more scared of a spider...
