Everything is always changing and in a constant flux. TTR changed a lot when Chinos left. I agree that no major changes should be done but never any harm in trying to tweak.
I don't have a problem with tweaking at all. Otherwise it gets real stale. Just that clothing optional is not a tweak. To cut to the chase, if it when CO - Chris would not go. If Chris won't go - she won't let me go. So if it goes CO - I can't go. So I hope it never goes CO. Jamie
I guess we have been to so many different countries where it is normal to have clothing optional and never any issue so we would consider it a tweak. If you think that clothing optional will lead to people having sex, then I can understand your fears. I would also keep it to just the quiet pool. It is more for those that want to sunbathe au naturale.
I wouldn't like it very much, my wife probably wouldn't let me go there, at least while I could still enjoy it. And not because she wouldn't enjoy it. She's shy. She imagines not fitting in or something, but anytime we do anything everyone likes her & I become "the fat guy that follows Lori around". It only took about 3 years of mentioning, nagging, begging, bribing, trying to get her friends to go with us and all that to go to Temptations because it's topless optional, and then maybe 30 minutes at the pool before she dropped her top in the beach bag. We love the place. We'll be back. There are lots of clothing optional places that she wouldn't consider going to. Let's just leave it alone, mmmkay?
Harmony I so get why people enjoy TTR. We were there in 2010 and just loved it. It struck a nice balance between a basic adult only resort and the opposite end of the scale being Desires or Hedo. You could involve yourself as much as you wanted and not feel pushed in either direction. At least we never did. It was just a fun adult oriented, edgy experience. But there is a big change when you add clothing as an option. And I think it's the option part. Everyone should be on a level playing field, no option. What I think might work is what they have at Sans Souci in Ochos Rios a separate area designated nude only. I would love the option of going nude during a portion of our stay, but not at the infringement of others. That way it would not change TTR from what it is, it would just add another adult oriented tier but equality is key no option.
If there are nude people, I will not be allowed to go. Give me a break, so the nude girls on the bar giving body shots is not nude. So that is ok with the wife. How a sheer wicked weasel is not considered nude is beyond me. So we not get hate mail, we LOVE wicked weasel. The wife has more than I can count. Nude people are not bad people, well we might be!
I love nude girls on the bar giving body shots. I love wicked weasels.... After being married for over 31 years you learn which battles you want to fight and which you don't. If you can convince my wife that naked people at TTR is an acceptable thing, PLEASE, PLEASE DO IT!!!!!!! I don't think she has a problem with naked women as much as naked men... but that's a guess on my part. Maybe she's afraid she'll find out she's been having to settle for such a little dick so long she'll get really pissed. I don't know. Jamie
