Having just returned we can say that there were a lot of groups of those who obviously knew each other from before and it was a bit intimidating for a new couple to break that barrier. When we did, however, we found them to be quite friendly (the "Hello My Name Is" tattoo was a great ice breaker as were a number of the fun games around the pool that built a bit of a community of friends).

What may be important to note is that it may not be cliques as much as clicking. Some people just get along with some people better than they do with others - perhaps because of similar interests, humour, backgrounds or some other attribute.

For our part, we met many wonderful people this past week however we did really click with a very special group and enjoyed spending a lot of fun times together at PatyOs in the evenings - there was a group of just about a dozen that swelled in numbers a number of times throughout the week but would often retrun to the original group.

All that said, when we're all up dancing the groups just kind of melt into one large body of people having a great time and, for the most part, everyone has fun - hundreds of us.

We found that sometimes the Premier guests isolated themselves because of their reserved areas and, it was our impression, that what they really wanted was for someone to grab them by the hands and bring them back to the larger groups. Next time we go, we'll make sure to do that.
