The answer is "it depends"... Individuals vary. 50g or less you are most likely in keto. 20g you are basically guaranteed to be keto. Dietdoctor.com is a good sure to reference
Would this not be body weight dependent? 50 grams in my body, is not the same as 50 grams in your body for example.
Perhaps weight dependent... Haven't seen the differences attributed to weight in my study...I just know it does vary. When I was doing keto for a long period, I did see it stop registering on the sticks, yet being at ~25g I knew I was in ketosis... Hence the switch to my body running on ketones. At the end, do what works for you!
Ketosis and fat adaptation are completely different. Fat adaptation is extremely hard to get to and has no real way of testing outside of trial and error eating. Id recommend checking out Matt Porter on youtube. The guys is an absolute Czar.
I've been a fan of Thomas Delauer on youtube . Started dropping out carbs to 20g a day and no sugar but really didn't follow keto properly as I should have regarding use of fats and lowered protein. Still dropped over 35lbs since Oct1st. Went off last week to adjust to carbs as we arrive next week and will not be worrying at all about what I eat or drink. Planning to be better prepared when arrive home to do it more effectively.
Speaking of cocktails.... Does anyone know how much the sky 3.5 bar cover charge cost per day.... Is it worth the extra cost.... Since I am not staying in the Tower I thought I would ask....
Thw SkyBar is worth visiting atleast once even at $20/person just for the experience, food, and the views for photos. It is a nice relatively chill experience and sometimes needed break from the SexyPool. Of couse quiet pool and/or beach or Sports Bar are too.
35 pounds is amazing. I am only down 8 physical pounds since October 21st, but 2 pant sizes, so I guess it is working to some degree. Perhaps I am just over thinking the process and just need to stay on track My body has always been super carb sensitive, I just ignored it for years.
Good work! If you're working out you're converting fat to muscle. Inches lost is a much better indicator than the lying scale!
