Hello All! We are traveling for our first visit to Temptation and only our second all inclusive together as a couple. We are pretty clean eaters and so often try to avoid added sugar in our drink choices and opt for booze forward cocktails mostly. Wondering what people’s experience has been and best cocktails are at the resort? We want to try to avoid sugary blended drinks and wondering if we should pick up a bottle or two for the room. Look forward to hearing from folks! R and A
We usually do the skinny margaritas and vodka waters and add something like a sugar free Mio for taste.
Mio is a good idea for sure. We just notice that being off sugar and then when we do imbibe, that it is a spectacular hangover haha.
i did the mio thing in our last trip. Brought like 5 different flavors. Kelly is partial to vodka with club soda and lime there too. So, no sugar there.... Cant recommend enough bringing something like gastrolyte with u though. It's the adult version of pediyalite. Comes in little powder packets. We drink one before going put for the night and force another one down before bed. Amazing in terms of preventing hangovers, or helping in the morning if u forgot to take it the night before
That’s great and thanks all! Will they do cocktails like a Manhattan or negroni or martini etc? Or just mixed drinks like outlines above ?
Mohito with no sugar is an option and if you need a break from booze then a mohito with no rum/no sugar is refreshing too.
We don't really do sugar anymore either and have never really done the sweet drinks (they make u feel awful the next day and make you feel so bloated). I'm a red or white wine, vodka soda or light beer drinker and the hubby will do rum, water and mio or light beer. However we can't say no to Fireball and Sambuca tho! A few shots here and there haven't killed us yet! Lol. We eat lazy dirty keto and have had no issues sticking to that on vacations. There are usually lots of options.
Mojito mmm so delicious but yes we did that last tome at a different resort minus the sugar. We find that if we have all alcohol cocktails that we avoid it as well and less of the sugar hangover haha. Thanks for that suggestion!
