Hi folks, Sure this has been posted before but can anyone please tell me how much you are to buy a carton of 200 cigarettes in Cancun (Brittish brands - Benson & Hedges, Regal etc)? Also, whre is the best place to purchase them? Cheers!
Probably be best to pick them up in Duty Free on your way down. That's where you'll get the best price and maybe the best selection of British brands. Jamie
i would say the best place would be wal-mart. Im 100% sure of this, because they charge you about 21-22 USD. I am not sure what that translates into your currency, but that is really cheap compared to the prices here in that states. If you do not want to go to wal-mart, you can maybe buy them at the airport, if i remmember correctly. Otherwise you will be stuck buy them from the hotel zone, and that can get fairly expensive (depending on how much you smoke).
yea man good luck though, i stood in line for about 15-20 minutes and the lady completely ignored me until i offered her a slice of pizza. lol just kidding about the pizza but she did seem to ignore me by the way the ciggerates are up front by the customer service at the front of the store, all locked up.
Walmart is cheaper than the duty free at around $22 per carton. The only brands you'll recognise from the UK are Bensons and Marlboro Light. Hotel zone expect to pay $35 per carton.
its unbelivable how cheap cigarettes are there like $2 a pack compared to like $6 in where i live in ct
