Basically we were told by our RCI rep there it is for meetings. Meaning you have to reserve it with the resort in advance. Unsure if a group size requirement has to be met or of any other details other than it is not open with bartender or servers unless it has been reserved. The restrooms are open though. Our friends discovered that!
It really is. Our group spent a couple of afternoons/early evenings up there last trip. There is no bar service and you have to bring your own music .... but still a great spot
Now imagine that area after it has had zero upkeep for five years, and that is the cigar bar. The wood is now splintered, the cushions are torn and cracked, and there is five years of dirt and grime in the area.
Ok.... after 5 trips I have never seen this cigar bar... must not be to important to our fun level LOL is it time to go yet????
I suggested last trip making it another reservations style restaurant, japanese steakhouse style maybe? Minimal renovations could make it just what they need. It would be nice to have another dining option. ..
Or even a quiet bar like in the picture from 2005. It would be a nice option, especially if you are staying for a week or so. A lot of people congregate around the Quiet Pool Bar in the evening.
