Thinking of ditching the family for Christmas for the fifth year in a row. How is the crowd and weather at TTR Cancun? We are looking for fun and friendly people around or age to hang out with. Around our age being 20's to 40's. Knowing that the holidays are family time, and most people our age have kids, we were just wondering who might be going out. Been to TTR Cabo twice and want to try Cancun this time. On a financial note, is 1000 per person for flight and room good from the west coast for eight days and seven nights?
$1,000 per person for 8 days is a very good price. I can tell you that TTR is very popular over Christmas vacation. I have no idea what the age group is, but the resort charges more this week because it's a very popular time to go.
We just booked for Christmas, leaving Washington on the 20th and heading back on the 26th. We are both 40 and looking forward to Christmas without kids this year. Hope we can make some good memories. As for the $1000 each, that sounds pretty good. We paid $2600 for both of us for 6 nights and round trip airfare.
Christmas Hi, We are going Dec 25th- Jan 1st...got a great deal for that week $1800 for both of us! Eve
We went last year. Came home on the 23rd. Rainy and very windy a few days. All the water activities on the beach were canceled for 3 days due to the wind. Sexy pool isn't heated so it takes a little while to get used to it. Crowd was awesome though. Typical TTR crowd, 30s-50s. Great time. Just wished the weather had been a bit better.
