Hey friends Mrs Andrea and I will be at TTR this year from Dec 21st-25th (thanks Jon and Stacia for the referral) and was wondering how the regular crowd, and the resort is during Christmas time. It will be the latest dates we’ve ever went, will the pool be cool? Will occupancy be low because it’s Christmas? Also we are leaving TTR on Christmas Day and heading to Intima resort tulum and staying until the 29th I think? We’ve never been there, but know it is clothing optional. Does anyone have any experience with this resort they would like to share? Any recommendations for our time in tulum? We’ve already done the ruins, will probably not do them again. Thanks in advance. Anybody at TTR during our dates fill free to chime in, we are also going to try for a Boobs Cruise during that time.
Watching this thread as we may look in to this resort as the others are getting so costly. Will be curious as well to hear you alls report back. TIA.
Much cheaper but not all inclusive, no food or drinks? Just a kitchen. Stop at Walmart and get some frozen pizzas and a bottle of tequila?
To my understanding it’s within walking distance to all the restaurants and bars in town. And from our experience in eating out in Mexico, town food and drinks are much cheaper than what you pay at allinclusive.
We at Intima for our second time. Will be there through 12/27. Just depends on who is here, it can be quiet during the day but last time we had a great time in the hot tub, doing body shots, getting naught etc. if anyone else is in the area let us know! We may pop up to Cancun for a few nights too.
We will see you at TTR as our dates overlap. We've been to Temptation in Decembers in the past. It's great, like any other time of year. The weather is warm and sunny. The only difference is it gets dark earlier. I'm pretty sure it'll be a good crowd!
sorry for the late reply, I posted this so long ago and not many people responded, we haven’t got back on here. That is awesome you guys are going to be there for a couple days. We have a couple friends coming with us and we will have a car as well. We are definitely open to body shots as well. We don’t get to intima until the 25th. I can’t figure out how to message or we would message you guys.
All good! I will say that the pool is very cold! So get your swimming in before you get here. There is a bar and the bartender is very friendly. Lots of restaurants in walking distance and if you really want to immerse yourself in the culture and get away from the more touristy area, it’s a 20 min walk to the more local spots. We also spent a few nights at Desire RM, this a good step before heading back to normal life
