Lenny, sorry if this is on here somewhere and I didn't see it. How long will you be taking donations? We can't afford to do a large donation at once, but I plan to set some back out of each paycheck so that I can. This is such a fabulous cause and Chinos is an amazing person. I've met him only once, but it was still a great time and he was a huge part of making it a great time. I also plan to talk to my family Sunday. My grandfather was taken too soon by prostate cancer. I'm sure they would also be interested in Chinos' cause.

 

Hello Chance Sarah - Any amount that suits your budget is awesome, we started this on March 17th, 2013 @ 9pm and it is running until August 11th, 2013 when Chinos & friends will be running the annual 5km & 10km run here in Cancun. Here is the link to the website we started, you do not need a Paypal account to donate money, only a credit card and I do not see any of your credit card information other than your name and address and the comments you leave in the box. You will automatically get a receipt sent to you with your donation and I will post the information back up on this thread.

Just so everyone knows why I am doing it this way:

1 - It keeps the thread alive and up in the top daily posting
2 - It keeps the donation amount in plain view to help keep track of incoming funds
3 - It shows who has donated so people can see their donations when they send it in
4 - It gives Chinos something to read when I email this thread to him

If anyone has any ideas on spreading the word that can help us raise money for Chinos Cause, please let us know by posting it in the thread... by the way, I love the Intended Bumps keep it going everyone

 

People shouldn't get put off by the $$$ amounts people donate. Every penny adds up to $1 and so on.

 

I agree don't let what or how much we donate affect yours as every little bit is going to help Chinos or the people he feels need the most help in the future.

 

I don't want anyone to think I'm put off or anything. I think it is absolutely amazing anyone that is able to give anything (be it $5 or $5000). I just personally would rather sit $5 aside from each pay check and make a larger donation once toward the end. It is just easier for me personally that way. Fight on Chinos! You are an amazing person and can do this!
