Old, yes, but "dirty"? For fear of again being called a "dirty old man", Gringation, I can't agree with you, at this time.
Now we are cooking. Thanks RG and I sure did not mean to hurt your feelings, just scratch them up a bit. Readers will be glad to know that RG and I have had many mutual apologies over the years, well deserved in some cases if we go a little too far. I must agree with V on directions from, and to, the fairer sex. And it has nothing to do with basic or acquired intelligence. My ex g/f used to say things like go to that Blockbuster by El Timon, keep going till the 3rd Superior beer sign and turn at the green house with the white fence. When chided by me for not knowing street names or N,S,E or W, she simplied explained that women are more artistic than men, and hence more visual. Men on the other hand, do better with putting gas grills and bicycles together, maybe because the instructions are provided. I was wondering, but did not bring it up, about your directions. If one did not know where Maurcio's office was, and were following your directions, to turn right at the last street before Kabah, would they not have to go to Kabah to make sure that they actually could find the last street and then double back. Seems like turn right on Acapulco would have been better. My current g/f still cannot understand that it is the same distance around a block no matter which way you go. The light at the OXXO on Yaxchilan, closest to Costco is a great example. She lives X number of perfect rectangular blocks from there. Her street is divided so you have to make a right turn and go to the corner, aka the starting point. She prefers to make a U turn, the the first left, and then a right at that light, when going like to Walmart. I prefer to make a right, the next right, then the next left and right at the light. Same distance either way and same number of turning manuevers. She swears her way is the shortest distance and cannot be persuaded otherwise. I think things like directions led to the "can't live with them, can't live without them" expression. At the risk of being called a "dirty old man" again, I am thinking that it might be nice to meet Gringiation in person. It is nice, in many cases, to test another expression - "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."
I just got off the phone with one of my favorite Moms. Told her we needed to go to Cheesters one evening. "Where is it" she asked. I told her and she has no clue. She did say something about it being shorter to stop and park before the park, and walk against the one way traffic as that would be a shorter distance, as opposed to driving nearly all the way around the park. This is true. There you have it. Her distance calcs, and her butt, are much better than mine.
