Booked on Sept. 30. Finally received the hotel confirmation number. Heres hoping its legit, or else we arrive in Cancun on Jan. 16 and are looking for a hotel. Maybe I can talk my wife into going to Desire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
End of day 12 and still no hotel confirmation. Not calling till my 15th day since they told me 7-14 days..................
Again, we got our confirmation and then called the resort. They have us booked and had the same confirmation number we got from Fun and Sun. We had friends already use the nights they bought with no issues. No mandatory timeshare presentation. I would call Fun and Sun if you don't have your confirmation.
I just called Fun in the Sun and spoke with the person I made the reservation with. He said they do not send out confirmations until 30-60 days before arrival. But I have called Temptations and they do have my reservation all I need to bring is an ID. The comfirmation from Fun in the sun is nice but not needed for check in. If you need to contact Temptations the number is 1-877-485-8367.
Thank you Abkeywest. Just called hotel and they have ours and gave me my confirmation number. Sounds like a go..............
Having a reservations is one thing,, have a Confirmation # means the travel company has paid for the room. You can reserve a room with a deposit in some cases and just pay the balance 30 to 60 days before check in.(are they holding on to your money ???) If they can get their butts out of the grey area , they could get a lot of bookings, just through this site alone. They sound legit, on the other hand their website is a joke, and not getting a confirmation # in a reasonable amount of time, make me and probably others skeptical about booking here even thought the price is about $80 @ night cheaper. I wish you all the luck and keeping an eye on this, cause it is a good deal, if legit.
Have to admit they seem a little shady. Time will tell. Thought I would give it a try and if works fine and if it doesn't, it won't be any worse than a couple bad hands of Blagkjack. I've had what appeared to be legit reservations through Expedia and others and found out when I got to Mexico they can bump you to another hotel and you can't do anything about it but complain(twice in fact). Having to sleep in the street might be another story.....................Another advantage I have is I will be there for Thanksgiving first and will find out face to face with the hotel.....
I went to the site and tried to book a couple December dates but they were not available for $99, it was about $175 a night. You would think if it is a scam they would just sell as many $99 a night packages they could and take the money and run. Price goes up if supply goes down so maybe that means they really do have a block of rooms. I checked April and may and that was $99. Can't wait to see if this works out.
