We had the same experience. When we got our confirmation email I immediately called Temptation and they had our reservation. Our cost was about $820 for 7 nights for 2 people. I was skeptical at first too since the Web site looked hokey. Some friends have already used nights they bought on this site with no issues and no timeshare presentation requirement.
Just used the same web site. Trying to call Tempatations but every phone number I use says that the call can not be made as dialed. Is there a phone number to Temptations that someone can post.
After last weeks thread we did some scrambling. TTR had us booked(with conformation number) from the start. Fun and Sun sent email with credit card charge after booking. Tried to get conformation email from F&S and it was a nightmare. After the fourth time, I'm getting PO'd. Turns out it was our email security settings and we couldn't get them to work. Tried a different email and had no troubles. Not sure if its correct, but F&S said we HAD to have a copy of F&S confirmation at check-in. So far eveerything looks legit. For that price, if I must sit through some speil just to turn them down, so be it. They better be serving drinks or we may have a problem.:icon_smile:
Have confirmation from Fun and Sun. Finally received a response from Temptations. They have a reservation in our name. Need to get final confirmation from Fun and Sun. Temptations will not send us the confirmation. Supposedly has to go through the travel agent. I guess its just a matter of time.
814.28 booked seven nights Jan 26-Feb 2. Small print in cancellation policy did talk about attending timeshare presentation or credit card would be charged the difference to full fare. So be it for 4-5 hundred savings. Never had a problem saying no. We will just take a tray of cocktails along LOL......
Nothing in fine print about that on ours. Only that if you reschedule within 5 days of date of arrival you will be charged a $75 reschedule fee. Our friends that used it didn't have to attenda time share but were of course approached like normal!
I didn't really see it either but my buddy booked his right afterwards and said it was in there. I figure if they ask and I answer, I met the terms lol......... We'll see what it says on the final confirmation. Might be a generic label
