It's being reported here that Travelrepublic (a UK agency) are restricting bookings to couples only which mirrors a message from Alpharooms I mentioned before.
Don't mind me folks... I even sent the premier folks an email today asking for some clarification on all this business. No answer from them yet but there seems to be something up that they aren't telling us about.
Hey people! This could be a good thing right? Maybe it's the resorts way of dealing with the complaints of the large groups of single guys many of us have had bad experiences with? :lurking:
So, it seems the summary so far is: 2 separate reports of 2 different travel agencies from the UK stating no single guys (females ok) and one report of an agency in the US stating couples only. TTR have mentioned they will be going couples only to 2 different people on live chat, but have said it is business as usual on Facebook and in an email from the GM's assistant. Will be interested in what Premier reply with.
It is with very mixed emotions that we say that we believe a move to couple only is the way to go. While we have met a few very very nice singles, there is often large groups of single guys that completely un-nerve many at the resort. We're certain at this point the MGMT has seen and recognizes the issues at hand. Couples only would chill the resort considerably in our opinion.
wow. I booked my trip just in time then! Looks like i might not be returning to TTR on my own anytime soon!
