Just got back yesterday. You got to be out there pretty early to get a chair. Not so sure about the ones that put them out before going to bed. I heard they removed them however I don't think it's true because there were quite a few out REAL early. You don't mind as long as they "use" them. Hate it when they come take their towels off them after 3 in the afternoon - never using them. Not a way to make friends! Sharing is a great way to make new friends. (Personal opionion - the white towels (not Premier members) don't count!
when were there in April they took up all the chairs at night which stopped people from setting up after PatyOs. We thought that was awesome. Seemed to make quite a difference. Not so sure if they were still doing that when we were there last month. I got up a couple of mornings at 6am just when the sun was coming up and there were lots of chairs saved already. On another note, has anyone actually been charged for not returning their towel before 5pm?
Now if I say they don't then nobody will bring their towels back , then they'll start charging. So to answer the question truthfully is impossible.
I won't take your shirt, but I'll sit in that chair if I want to and you aren't using it. Chairs are sparse enough at the sexy pool. Saving them is not the nicest thing that one could do. Granted, I'll of course get myself up if you come back and say to me, "I was saving that chair..." I'll happily get up and let you have it, now that you've arrived. But, doesn't stop me from sitting my big butt down on it, either. I may irritate the people who make a point to get up at 6:00 a.m. to save a chair by the pool for when they want to use it at 11:30, but that chair is totally wasted for that five and a half hours, and that's not right either.
If I find someone in my chair, they will be subjected to a haymaker followed by a quick upper cut. When they wake up face down in the pool, I will kindly say, that was my chair! Okay, not really, but I wanted to say that. We do the same, if we get up early, we will get chairs and when not in use, anyone can use them, just don't move our stuff like it were your own. R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Also, what I have said before, when you know half the people around the pool, it really becomes a non-issue. If we don't get chairs, we will find a friend to park our stuff and bounce from place to place when we are not in the pool. If you are sitting in someone's chair or someone is sitting in yours, that you don't know, what a better way to break the ice and make a new friend. They could be new, never been there before peeps and who knows, after introductions, could be friends for years to come.
Well... Since you were able to find time to post this at 4:25 am, I'm hoping you'll make the same effort to get up that early at TTR and reserve some chairs for the wife and I :icon_wink:
'Dont move our stuff ' ??? most spread out the t shirts, towels, shades, books, suntan cream, flip flops, all over the chairs,, how can you not move it if you want to sit down? We've been there and seen chairs covered in stuff all day then someone just come and pick the stuff up late afternoon. Or worst still people who have been on the booze cruise getting off the boat and picking up their stuff. We all pay to use the facilities at the hotel so why should a flip flop and towel get a better seat than the rest of us? Always thought you went on holiday to chill out,, not panic if you cant rush out before 3 am to reserve your territory by the pool. Please dont forget,, its not actually 'your' chair.
Often as a single its easy to find a chair available even as the day wears on (aka you wake up from your drunken stupor)
