And who's to say we can't get our own party going on the beach...how much fun... Sun, Beach, booze, boobs, great people what more could a person want on vacation. And nothing says you can't join in the festivities, many times we spend our mornings and early afternoon on the beach...even the quiet pool then head over to the sexy pool find friends to store our stuff and carry on.
Don't let it frustrate you. Have fun. While we were there the place was packed, and there simply aren't enough chairs for everyone at the sexy pool. If you want "choice seating" for staring at the events from a lounger, fight the reservation junkies and claim a chair as you go to bed or crazy early. The events aren't very long and there's only a couple to see (or participate in) each day. I thought the view from the pool was the best anyway (pool bar if you want to be nice and close up), and plenty of people stand around by the bar nice and dry. In 10 days at TTR, our first and only argument was about where to sit. I really don't care much and hide from the sun anyway. We can sit by pool or on a paved path at home, but how often can we lay back under a palm tree in sand by the ocean? She wanted me to have a strong opinion on it and fight for chairs by the pool like everybody else, and I refused to do it. We got past that and mostly had no issues. After the 5th day, we ignored the chairs by the pool even when they were available, being off the path a bit meant less people stepping around you all day, and it never prevented us from joining in the activities at the pool or elsewhere. The beach lacks neither sun, alcohol or people, and the sexy pool isn't very far away. There was never a time that we couldn't find a chair to relax on somewhere. Don't get caught up in the chair fiasco, relax and enjoy a great time.
Lots of times we will just put our stuff in a corner or something. Lots of places to sit at the sexy pool anyways. The jacuzzi, the side of the pool, the long row of steps at the jacuzzis, the swim up bar.... We kind of like to go "on tour" some days. Just stroll around visit with people here, meet someone new over there, stop and watch whatever contest is on, have a drink, hit the ocean and repeat - basically never stay in one place too long.
