Oh we will, we just dump our stuff on the beach, and have a post boozy lunch siesta there, and FYI, you two are young things! :daisy:
Hey now..we were sitting. Next to u guys. Last year on the beach ..is that comments. Were to us ( old people.) LOL.
Maybe I am not getting it being a "newbie" and only having been there once. This whole thing is just kind of a BS thing that we are all getting so wound up for. There are arguments on both sides and each make valid points. Here are some simple facts.... 1. If you want a "reserved" chair.... buy the effin timeshare! You have your own section. If you don't like the section because it is away from the pool, tough, that's what you bought and its your fault for not thinking of it. 2. If you are not a member/timeshare owner, don't think that there are rules against saving chairs when there isn't. Do some people do it, yes! Does it suck ass and is it kind of disrespectful, yes. Do they have the right to do it... YES! If you wanna get a chair then get up early or buddy up with some friends. 3. If you are willing to risk taking someone stuff off their chair be ready for a confrontation. It's not yours and if you move it you better know how long that has sat unoccupied, for if that person is around the pool they may think your stealing it. Also it make you just as disrespectful as the person that reserved the chair and left for 6 hrs. 4. Have some common sense. If you walk down to the pool and there is no space available, look for some friends. They will ALWAYS let you pony up your stuff under their chair and lay in them if they aren't at the time. 5. If you don't have any friends and/or are new, it hurts, but deal with it. Use this as a new way to meet people and make some friends. Belly up to the bar ask where the person where they are sitting and "if they mind you throwing your stuff under their chair". They will probably let you and will more than likely get to chatting enough to if they aren't in it you can even ask to tan in the chair. We had a chair for 2 out of the 5 days we were there. Simply, if you don't have a chair, put your stuff in your towel along the ropes and keep tabs on it. If a spot clears or you find your friends then strike up the band you now found a chair. Do I think it is right that at 6am when I go down there to get a chair, they are all reserved... HELL NO! I wanna lounge drink a bailey n coffee and enjoy the morning. Will I post up in an unoccupied chair... Probably! But I am not going to be a big enough dick to throw peoples stuff in the pool or even return the towels to the stand(even though I would REALLLLY like to!). It just a dickhead maneuver from someone that is afraid to learn how to communicate. If I am in your chair, don't come to me with an attitude. Simply let me know I am in your spot and I will gladly move and even get you a drink of choice, just like JohnandStaci said. We are all on vacation and just know that what ever you do if you reserve a chair or sit in someones reserve chair, the word of the day is RESPECT... learn it, live it, love it.
I've always reserved one with a t shirt as I'm an early riser. Buts that being said its for my wife who likes to sunbath where as I'm at the pool bar when they open. And as always any ccc person is more than welcome to use or store there bags by our chair anytime.
