The "chair" system at Desire works really well. You stroll out to the pool at breakfast time, the pool guy allocates you (as a couple) 2 chairs. End of. No show, no chair. If you leave the pool area with all your stuff, he cleans up, puts down new towels for other guests. No arguing. A small tip every day helps to get you sat where you want, peace and harmony. As for TTR, we sit on the beach, can't be doing with the hassle. :daisy:
I think the best one was throwing all the towels in the pool at 5 am, but the best ones are not always the most practical ones
Having been to Desire 15 or 16 times, we would have to agree that in it's current incarnation, the lounge chair system there works well. You still need to get up early, but unless you are still in bed by 10:00 or so, you will get a chair. Then again, Desire has a lot of beach beds as well, so there is always a spot to be had somewhere. Maybe that's the other reason for less of the chair hassles we've seen at other places.
What is more mature throwing them in the water or saving them late at night and not using them at all or till late afternoon. People who save them and don't use them don't care about anyone but themselves so why should we respect them?
Read further up I think you misunderstand what I was saying. I don't think its mature to throw peoples things into the pool. I like the idea that when you get there staff will get you pool chairs.. it would stop people from saving late at night and not using them... oh for christ sake I'm repeating the previous thread...:deadhorse:
