Vince is my Towel bitch buddy, we meet at the pool, we don't get each others chairs. I'll just have to stay up all night and sleep in my chair. I already have a plan
While I would love to go back right the hell now, its just not possible with work stuff Feb 2014 Week 8 and we would be happy to share a chair!!
If you waited until 6:00am you may not have gotten seat last week, I could not sleep a couple of nights and would go walking and was a amazed how early they was taking chairs and then did not show back up until afternoon not sure how they can fix or change
As I started reviewing that, I was thinking, "Ahh hell, it's on..." but then got to the bottom and started nodding instead. Here's my thinking on it. People want a place to sit, understandable premise. People want to reserve a place to sit, as it becomes really busy and crowded sometimes. Also understandable. Getting up at 5:00 a.m. in the morning to go toss a towel down on a chair then stumbling back to the room to sleep off the rest of the drunk seems a bit foolish to me, since you could have just kept right on sleeping, and emerged a bi earlier to party after the sleep, right? I get a bit steamed when we hit the sexy pool at, say, 10:35 and every chair has someone in it (Awesome!) or has a towel on it (depends...) and we hang out at the bar, and look for folks we know to drop into their territory. The steamed-up part is the watching the group of chairs sit empty until after 2:00 p.m. or so, while people keep walking by asking people, "Do you guys know whose stuff is this?" That is a serious waste of real estate. Like I said, I don't care if there's a shirt down on a chair, and a towel, etc. I'm going to sit. I am NOT going to move someone's stuff, that's a fight-invitation and I'm all done with that. But to sit down, sure. And, when asked to get up as the chair was saved, no problem, I'm up and out of the way, usually to the bar to see if I can get the person whose chair I was bending a drink for letting me crash their chair for a while. Bestof All Things, you see.
I think the way you approach it is the right way to handle it. We try to get up at 6 to reserve a chair then sleep to 9 get bfast and are there by 10. We don't like the game but have to play it to get our sun time as we tend to spend more time in the chair than in the pool. Would be devastating to drag myself out of bed at 6 and NOT be able to get a chair. We are usually up until 3ish but don't typically feel right reserving then for some reason.
Hey missy, get back to the April roll call where you belong!!!!!:aktion030::bootyshake::aetsch022::aetsch022:
