So found out the whole deal w AT&T...they did not go ahead with this plan, so you would need to purchase the international plan. If you live in Mexico you can now call the U.S. unlimited for only $5 a month, but that does not apply to us traveling there, roaming fees still apply. They purchased several phone companies in Mexico and the talk was to included Mexico in the domestic plan but that did not happen...maybe one day! Last yr we just used the resorts wifi to FaceTime the kids back home everyday. It was good enough and if the connection was bad, we just sent an iMessage. I you don't have an iPhone, there are several apps you could download to text message or video chat. Sorry about the wrong info, I blame my know it all husband for insisting he was correct lol!
